On the other hand, the design is not as unique as some fans would like. Either way, RDX and MDX share many common components.
Inside, the 2021 MDX remains a three-row SUV. However, Acura will offer many improvements, especially in the area of technology. This seven-seater also offers a higher level of comfort. Safety is another impressive aspect of the MDX. This is thanks to the AcuraWatch safety package available on all trim levels. Higher trim levels offer more luxury, such as leather seats and an electric sunroof.
In terms of performance, the Acura MDX is equipped with a reliable 3.5-liter V6 engine. This engine can produce 280 horsepower and 262 Nm of torque. A 9-speed automatic transmission is available along with the optional Super-Handling AWD configuration. A hybrid version will also be available, which is another reason to buy the 2021 Acura MDX. However, the exact specifications of the hybrid are not yet available. The MDX crossover SUV will go on sale this fall and will cost $46,000. The sportiest Type S MDX costs well over $60,000.

2021 Honda Pilot
Here's another great SUV off the list. The new 2021 Honda Pilot is certainly one of the most reliable models on the market. The new version will contain some drastic changes. Despite this, the next generation Pilot will be on the market in about two years. However, that doesn't stop Honda from offering additional upgrades to its best-selling SUV.
First, this mid-sized SUV has more safety features. In addition, the exclusive and premium Black Edition model is once again at the top of the range. Don't expect an upgrade, but the mid-cycle drinks are certainly more than welcome. This three-row SUV has a sharper front end. The familiar three-slat grille gets more chrome accents, while the new lower LED accents look very impressive. The taillights have been slightly changed and new wheels are available as an option.
The interior will still seat seven passengers, and the Pilot will receive only a few high-tech upgrades. Under the hood, the Pilot SUV uses the same 3.5-liter V6 engine. This engine develops 280 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. Honda offers front-wheel drive as standard. However, the optional AWD configuration is now available with an advanced torque vectoring system. This allows the vehicle to take control of the power transmitted to each wheel. Pilot prices for 2021 start at $32,000. The Black Edition, on the other hand, costs $50,000. The Pilot SUV is available in six trim levels and will be available in the second half of 2020.

Genesis GV80 2021
The new 2021 Genesis GV80 is coming soon. Genesis transforms its concept into a real model, the GV80. It's a 2017 concept, and in addition to the concept photos, we've seen some low-res spy shots. The GV80 is the company's latest SUV that looks incredibly premium both inside and out.
Recently, the first photos from the outdoor leaked on Instagram. According to the same photos, the production model is slightly different from the concept. The style is slightly different and looks less futuristic. The radiator grille is larger and the headlights are smaller. Some of the tips are taken from the G90 model. In terms of dimensions, they are in line with the concept. At the rear, there are larger tail lights that extend all the way to the side panels.
The interior looks impressive. The 2021 GV80 has a larger center console and separates the two front seats. The electronic display is located in front of the driver's seat, making it easier to change gears. The circular touchpad looks beautiful and is located next to various buttons. The dashboard is equipped with an infotainment system, and the navigation is very practical. The top trim levels feature a digital instrument panel that can be easily configured by the driver. On the other hand, the base trim level will include more conventional analog gauges.
In terms of performance, the GV80 will have rear-wheel drive. A powerful V6 engine is offered as standard. Another possibility is a V8 powertrain, but that's less likely. Either way, the V8 engine could be available in the GV80 in 2022. Another solution is a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Some reports say that the hybrid version will go on sale later this year. Other reports say the hybrid model won't hit the market until 2022. Finally, the highest trim levels offer AWD as standard. The new GV80 mid-size SUV will compete with the Volvo XC90, Mercedes-Benz GLE and BMW X5. Prices should start at $50,000 or a bit more.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 2021
The all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee is another model set to arrive with numerous updates. We're definitely in for a major update as the Grand Cherokee gets an optional third-row seat in 2021. Spies are available so far. Under the heavy camouflage, you can see some changes at first glance. For starters, a mid-size SUV will have a longer wheelbase. In addition, the rear overhang looks more prominent, making the interior space more spacious. Thanks to the new three-row layout, Jeep will change its style and offer new styling details. Narrower headlights make an impression together with the famous seven-slot grille.
The new 2021 Grand Cherokee gets the most drastic interior upgrades. This model will be equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen. A similar example can be found in the new Ram 1500 pickup. As we mentioned, the interior space is now more spacious thanks to the longer wheelbase. However, the only big news is the new, optional third row of seats. This increases the number of seats from five to seven. Remember that the third row of seats is optional, so the five-seater layout remains standard.
Under the bonnet of this mid-size SUV, the 3.6-liter V6 engine is still at work. It provides 295 hp and 260 Nm of torque. The optional 5.7-litre Hemi V8 engine produces 360 hp and 390 Nm of torque. Diesel is another option. The Grand Cherokee will be offered with a 3.0-liter V6 engine, and the eTorque mild hybrid system is likely the most likely solution. However, real performance comes in the SRT trim level. The Grand Cherokee SRT will be offered with a 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 707 horsepower and 645 Nm of torque. As for the price, Jeep's latest SUV is priced at $33,000. If you want the SRT version, you'll have to pay around $70,000 if not more. The Grand Cherokee will arrive at dealerships this summer.

2021 Cadillac XT5
The all-new 2021 Cadillac XT5 is the latest addition to our list of the most reliable midsize SUVs. This model is characterized by great luxury and is available in a four-door version. The XT5 is expected to arrive as a next-generation model in 2023. For this reason, the 2021 variant will be upgraded mid-cycle. Cadillac offers several trim levels, and the XT5 is a highly customizable model.
The exterior looks sleek and Cadillac has done a great job of providing sharper edges. The styling is really impressive, but we are not sure how many changes the manufacturer will introduce. The design is based on the Escal concept, and the XT5 will sit between the XT4 and XT6 models. The jewel-studded headlights look stunning paired with the luxurious 18-inch wheels. If you want bigger rims, 20" rims are optional. In 2021, Cadillac is expected to offer larger headlights and redesigned taillights. The rest of the bodywork has been largely preserved.
Inside, the new 2021 XT5 will receive a number of technological upgrades. These include a range of driver assistance systems and a new autonomous driving system. So far, this system can only be used on motorways. For example, the Cadillac CT6 sedan offers exactly the same system. The interior looks impressive, and the Cadillac offers plenty of luxury. This includes beautiful wood and chrome accents. The legroom in the second row of seats is generous and the comfort of traveling is at a high level. Finally, new interior colors are being developed.
Under the hood of the Cadillac XT5 is a 3.6-liter V6 engine. This reliable powertrain can generate up to 310 hp and 270 Nm of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, along with an eight-speed automatic. AWD configuration will again be optional. A 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine is also available, producing 270 hp and 295 Nm of torque. While not as powerful as the larger 3.6-liter V6 engine, this turbocharged engine has lower fuel consumption. XT5 2021 prices start at $41,000. If you want the highest trim level, you'll have to pay up to $75,000.
